Can you waste your whole life because of one setback or cause?
How can you waste your entire life because of that one setback? What could be that possible setback or cause? Someone ditched you; the death of a dear one; major financial loss; a lost limb in an accident; any long ailment; a major injury; you are depressed; you are lonely; you don’t have a home; you have a deadly disease; or any other specific cause.
Yes, it’s not easy, I know. Only the one whose shoe pinches knows the pain. It’s true. But is your life not precious, first for you and then for the ones who love you—those could be your parents, your pet, your friends, or any other person? If your answer is still no, then why has God given you this life? Why he made you human? Why not an animal, plant, insect, bird, or anything else? Because he considered you worth it, and you must own it. And he never does anything without reason.
Do you think this life can only be smooth? See the struggle of birds, trees, plants, and animals; they face all types of harsh weather without clothes, without homes, and many of them without any shelter or treatment. Do you commit suicide? Or do you think so? Do they get sympathy? Do they get any treatment? The answer here, too, is no.
If you still think it’s not clear, then what can you do in this world? Serve! At least, serve—yes, help yourself first and then others. This world is round, and God never forgets. Your focus, attention, and actions determine the type and frequency of energy and things this world gives you, most of the time reflecting what you give to it. Analyze with patience; that is the key.
